How to Turn Off/Disable Ping Service in iTunes?

Ping is a social networking service (music) within iTunes. It’s very easy to setup and use Ping account in iTunes. Using this Ping Service you can interact with other people/artists/celebrities who’re like you i.e., people with similar taste in music. But, some people may not be interested in sharing their views or interacting with others online. So below are the steps to disable/turn off Ping account in your iTunes by which you can stat private.

1. Open iTunes on your computer.

2. Go to ‘Store’ Menu > ‘View My Account’ option.

3. Scroll down until you find the account information page. Now click ‘Turn Off’ button next to Ping option.

That’s it. From now onwards, you’ll stay private and no one will interrupt you online.

Note that you’ve to login to access these settings. If you wish to continue Ping service in future, you can simply enable “Back Ping Service” from the same setting page easily.
